How to drive here
FROM VANCOUVER (4-5 hours)Take Trans Canada Highway 1 eastbound from Vancouver to Hope. Once in Hope, choose from 2 options to get to Kamloops: Coquihalla Highway (5) or Highway 1 Eastbound. The Coquihalla from Hope takes approximately 2 ½ hours while Highway 1 takes approximately 3 ½ hours. Please note that the Coquihalla is a toll highway which costs $10 per vehicle. Drive to Kamloops. Once you arrive in Kamloops, take the Highway 5 North exit to Jasper. At the first set of traffic lights turn right onto East Shuswap Road, then take the first left onto Sun Rivers Drive. 301 Mariposa Court is on the corner of Sun Rivers Drive and Mariposa Court (the first street on your left in Sun Rivers Subdivision). FROM SEATTLE (6.5-7.5 hours)
Take I-5 North to Bellingham; Exit on Meridian Street heading East and then head North toward the Sumas Border crossing. This will take approximately two and a half hours. Once in Canada, take the Trans Canada Highway 1 eastbound to Hope. Continue as directed from Vancouver. View the google map directions for this route.
FROM CALGARY
Take Trans Canada Highway 1 westbound. Turn north on Highway 5 toward Jasper. Turn right at first traffic light onto East Shuswap Road, then first left onto Sun Rivers Drive. 301 Mariposa Court is on corner of Sun Rivers Dr. and Mariposa Court.
FROM JASPER
Travel south on Highway 5, the Yellowhead Highway, towards Kamloops. You will pass the turn off for Sun Peaks Ski Resort about 15 minutes out of Kamloops. Before you get to the river and the Trans Canada Highway, you will turn left at the T’Kemlups petroleum station onto East Shuswap Road. Then left into Sun Rivers Resort. You will find us at corner of Sun Rivers Drive and Mariposa Court.
How to fly here
Kamloops is accessible from Vancouver, Kelowna and Calgary airports. Once arrived, you may drive from the airport to the Wedgewood B & B by starting eastbound on Airport Rd. Turn right at Tranquille Rd and continue 3.8 km. Turn left at Holt St then right at Parkcrest Ave, continuing as the road changes names to Halston Ave. Turn right at HWY 5 and drive for 4 km. At the second set of traffic lights turn left onto East Shuswap Road, then take the first left onto Sun Rivers Drive. 301 Mariposa Court is on the corner of Sun Rivers Drive and Mariposa Court (the first street on your left in Sun Rivers Subdivision).
